The course will provide you with health and safety knowledge when working on site to keep yourself and others safe and the importance of reporting unsafe acts to prevent accidents from happening

CITB Health & Safety Awareness is aimed at anyone working as an employee, supervisor, and managers. This course highlights potential hazards when working on site and provides practical advice on keeping yourself and your colleagues safe. It covers your individual and employer’s responsibilities, including what you can do if you think anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.

Duration
The duration of the CITB Health & Safety Awareness course is 1 day of training with a lunch break.
Certification
Certification for this course is valid for 5 years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
Assessment
There is a multiple-choice test of 25 questions assessment at the end of the course, with results provided immediately.
Prerequisites
A good understanding of spoken and written English will be necessary in order to attend and complete the course successfully.
